Lalaloopsy Knit Dress

This is the first knitting pattern I have written so bear with me if it's not that well done. If you want to do it from the bottom up just CO 52. Where I cast on another stitch just knit/purl 2 together.
You can make this for yourself or as a gift. You are more than welcome to sell the finished product, just give me credit for the pattern. Do not repost this pattern and claim it as your own.

R 2 Purl 4, BO 2, purl 8, BO 2, purl 4 16
R 3 Knit 4, CO 3, knit 8, CO 3, knit 4 22
R 4 Purl across 22
R 5 Knit 8, CO 1, knit 6, CO 1, knit 8 24
R 6-10 Work in stockinette st 24
R 11 *Knit 5, CO 1* 2x, knit 4, *CO 1, knit 5* 2x 28
R 12-14 Work in stockinette st 28
R 15 *Knit 6, CO 1* 2x, knit 4, *CO 1, knit 6* 2x 32
R 16 Purl across 32
R 17 *Knit 7, CO 1* 2x, knit 4, *CO 1, knit 7* 2x 36
R 18 Change color, purl across 36
R 19-20 Work in stockinette st 36
R 21 *Knit 4, CO 1* 8x 44
R 22-24 Work in stockinette st 44
R 25 *Knit 5, CO 1* 8x 52
R 26-43 Work in stockinette st 52
Sew back of dress from bottom using mattress stitch. Leave top 2 inches open, attach button and loop at top.
